LOCAL Public Eatery was in the process of rebranding when I started working for JOEY Restaurant Group. The brand voice and look when through minor changes over the first year, but has now firmly found it’s stride.
In 2023 we started wrapping our new builds with art echoing the plywood hoarding of construction sites in big cities across the world. By plastering the stores with not-so-random duplicated posters, we gave ourselves endless opportunities to express as many messages as we needed, and could easily hone each hoarding to speak to the communities we were entering.
